Aman season, 2002 at observational field of Khulna University, Khulna to find out the suitable genotype(s) of fine-grained sift (Oryza sativa L.) for the south-west coastal saline region of Bangladesh. Seven fine-graine d rice varieties (Kataribhog, Kalizira, Somudraphenna, Chinigudi, Bagunbitchi, Khachra and Parbatzira) were tested. The performance of those varieties was studied under three fertiliser doses (T1=0 kg N/ha + 24 kg P2O5 /ha + 17.64 kg K2O/ha, T2= 40 kg N/ha + 24 kg P2O5 /ha + 17.
